The Foundation (NBTRF) collaborates with leading public health institutions and development organizations in promoting research into poverty-related diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis or HIV/AIDS. Team explores host-pathogen interactions, transmission dynamics and also study socio-ecological influences to improve the health situation of affected people. Researchers at Nanobiotechnology Research Foundation has a plan pursue research projects to gain a deeper insight in the complexity of diseases such as dengue, chikungunya, parasitic worm infections or viral infections.
It is planned that knowledge gained through research on parasites and disease transmission will be used to develop new drugs, therapies and vaccines. Experts at NBTRF lab will contribute to the clinical development of such new tools against poverty-related diseases. Research team has experience in planning, implementing and monitoring clinical trials especially in low-income countries. Application and intervention services will be applied based on research results.
